Holywell Park Conference Centre at Loughborough University, played host to this year’s annual HAE EHA Trade Show and Conference. The aptly named ‘Hire 2018 – Forward Together’ was a fantastic networking opportunity as well as a chance to learn, engage and tackle the existing and future challenges of the hire industry. Exhibitors, attendees and speakers successfully came together to discuss thought provoking concepts that address the unique challenges the hire industry face and help people within the industry prolong the lives of their businesses.
With the main theme of the show being ‘Forward Together’ and focussing on the future of hire businesses, we wanted to show some of the latest developments within our software that will help businesses further enhance processes and improve customer service.
Users now have the ability to track mobile devices that have inspHire Mobile installed. Allowing them to pinpoint exactly where drivers are at all times giving everyone complete visibility, helping improve driver utilisation and route planning as well as enabling more specific estimated delivery times to be given to customers.
As well as implementing new features into inspHire Mobile we are adding innovative technology to other products. Both our Office and Corporate products now include brand new Asset Tracker functionality as well as Telematics Integrations with Trackunit, JCB LiveLink, CanTrack Global and Teletrac Navman. Utilising in-built Google Maps integration our Asset Tracker functionality enables you to view the current location and status of your equipment, this paired with Telematics integrations allows key equipment inputs to be monitored and analysed as well as live GPS tracking, meter readings and hours of operation against key information about your hire fleet.

We had a great time exhibiting and networking at Hire 2018 and we most definitely learnt a lot by speaking with other passionate people within the industry. The opportunity to come together with fellow industry professionals and listen to expert speakers discuss hot topics certainly inspired plenty of new ideas.
