inspHire announces new integration with what3words

Untitled design (22)-2

inspHire are happy to announce that we've added what3words to inspHire Office Edition to help you report and find precise locations easily. what3words is a proprietary geocode system designed to identify any location on the surface of earth with a resolution of about 3 metres.

Exact locations can be hard to describe, especially for places without a street address, such as construction sites, water meters, etc. That’s why we've partnered up with what3words to launch an integration with inspHire Office Edition – so that you can easily record and share the exact location of your stored site addresses.

what3words is a simple way to identify precise locations. Every 3-metre square has been given a unique combination of three words. For example, the exact location of Kerridge Commercial Systems HQ in Hungerford can be found at ///veal.mule.hiker.

This brand-new integration is extremely useful when delivering to sites that do not yet have a confirmed address or postcode. It alleviates any confusion, and ensures you are directed to the required drop-off point. By using the power of what3words, you can narrow down the location to a 3x3m squared geolocation, as well as:

  • Look-up a what3words reference against your stored site addresses
  • Enforce accuracy as the integration will cross-examine the w3w address in real-time
  • Direct your in-house & third-party drivers by adding the address to your documents
  • Using the what3words app, drivers can scan the document and be given the drop-off point

The what3words address will also be available on the inspHire API for those customers who integrate inspHire into third-party applications using our powerful REST API.

"We are proud to incorporate the power of what3words to our customers directly within the inspHire application. This highly requested feature is key to unlocking digitisation and customer service improvements, allowing our customers to better service their own customers." - Martin Bestwick, Sales Director
