The Hire Association Europe (HAE) is the leading trade association for hire and rental companies in the UK. Formed in 1974, the HAE and EHA (Event Hire Association) has more than 3,500+ business members across the UK relying on them to guide the way in the hire and rental industry.

Hosted at the Coventry Building Society Arena, the two-day event won the hearts of the equipment, plant and tool hire industry having taken place 14th - 15th February. 2024 marks the 17th annual Executive Hire Show and it's only getting better with age! This year's event featured 150 exhibitors, including 31 first-time companies, and the organisers were proud to announce that 2024 marked the highest number of attendees, surpassing last year's record-breaking figures. 

Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS), the global provider of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and business management software for distribution, servicing and rental businesses, has reached an agreement to acquire Omni Accounts Software.

The acquisition of Kwa-Zulu Natal based Omni Accounts Software is a further strategic investment for KCS in South Africa and part of its ongoing plans to provide market leading vertical specific cloud software suites across ERP and business management solutions.

Following this transaction, the KCS group will serve over 21,000 customers and 100,000 users across the African continent.

What is National Apprenticeship Week (NAW)? A week-long celebration taking place on 5th - 11th February 2024 that brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy. This year marks the 17th annual celebration of apprenticeships and the theme for 2024 is ‘Skills for life’.
