On 18th October 2023, the Kerridge Commercial System (KCS) rental division hosted its bi-annual user forum for both inspHire Office and Corporate customers. Held at Nottingham Racecourse, the day had a jam-packed agenda filled with insights on new developments and services, introductions to KCS partners, as well as a fun afternoon at the races.

With 12 running depots across the UK, GTAccess are the experts when it comes to the hire or outright purchase of a powered access platforms, training or service plans for your own equipment. inspHire recently had the pleasure of meeting with the team at GTAccess to reflect on their unique journey, business successes and the relationship they hold with inspHire that dates back 20+ years.

Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS), a global ERP and business management software provider for the Distributive Trades, has reached an agreement to acquire Compilator (Sweden, Finland and UK). The acquisition of Compilator is a strategic investment for KCS, supporting its strategy of growth into new regions and further expanding its offering to the automotive industry.

The KCS Rental Division is made up of many different departments and key teams who drive the customer experience for inspHire users. One integral part of this service is our Helpdesk team, and two people who keep the cogs turning from a service delivery perspective is Ken Hughes, Service Delivery Director, and Sean Duryea, Helpdesk Manager. 

Over the past year, inspHire began implementing a global programme to improve our customer service and support. How and why? We have invested in new dedicated resources and technologies into this department, as well as new collateral and simplified processes to accommodate our customers. Simply put, the end-goal is to provide full transparency to our customers, while delivering the best possible service.  With a combination of 20+ years in IT service delivery and 10+ years at the forefront of inspHire's support team, both Ken and Sean have been working hard on the rollout of the inspHire Continual Improvement Programme. Back in 2016, Ardent was announced as the new combined company formed by the buyout and merger of established plant hire companies, One Call Hire and Fork Rent. Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS), a global ERP and business management software provider for distributors, wholesalers, retailers and the equipment hire industry, has acquired Palladium Business Solutions, based in Johannesburg, South Africa, along with its successful suite of products. Palladium Business Solutions is a long-established software provider servicing the distribution, manufacturing and accounting sectors throughout South Africa. The new combined business now has Approx. 13,500 customers and 75,000 users, a combined channel of 370 business partners distributing Palladium Business Solutions and KCS products throughout Southern Africa.

After four long awaited years, the Kerridge Commercial Systems Konnect Customer Conference finally made its return to the UK! The event took place across two days on the 2nd and 3rd of March in Stratford-upon-Avon with 300+ delegates in attendance from the rental, distribution and automotive industries. From guest-speaker, Penny Mallory, talking about the importance of Mental Toughness, to specific breakout sessions focussing on inspHire, Kerridge Commercial Systems and MAM Software's solutions, it was a fantastic two-day event.
